The citizen science algae project was launched in May 2021, and since then citizens have been engaged in finding new knowledge about algae along the Swedish coast in the Baltic Sea.
Aim
The citizen science algae project has two main purposes: To increase the general knowledge about how algae functions in the ecosystem and to provide the basis for new research about the algae environments in the Baltic Sea.
