Hi everyone, my name is Andrea Troncoso, a Chilean born living in the west of Germany. I studied forestry in Chile and fell in love with the temperate rain forests down there. For many years I worked at a Biological Station, that belongs to Darwin's trail Foundation. Yes, Darwin walked across those fields when traveling in 1835, while exploring Chiloé Island. It was on that trip and not so far from that biological station where he met the first "Darwin´s fox", or Payne Gnuru, as indigenous Mapuche people call this fox.
