Medborgarforskning – En kunskapsöversikt (Citizen Science – A knowledge overview)
The Royal Library in Sweden (KB) was commissioned by the government to map and analyze Public Participation in Scientific Research. Citizen Science was mentioned in the assignment as an example of interaction between research and the surrounding society and a form of co-creation where different actors take part in the research process. As part of the implementation, KB gave the non-profit organisation Public & Science (VA) the task of compiling a knowledge overview with a focus on citizen science. The overview was intended to form a basis for KB's further work.
Kungliga biblioteket (KB) fick av regeringen i uppdrag att kartlägga och analysera allmänhetens delaktighet i forskningsprocessen. Medborgarforskning nämns i uppdraget som ett exempel på interaktion mellan forskning och det omgivande samhället och en form av samskapande där olika aktörer ges inflytande i forskningsprocessen. Som ett led i genomförandet gav KB föreningen Vetenskap & Allmänhet (VA) uppdraget att sammanställa en kunskapsöversikt med fokus på medborgarforskning.
