EU-Citizen.Science contains a wide array of free, self-directed training modules on citizen science on its Moodle page. The themes of the training modules range from introduction to citizen science over research design and methods, engagement and impact to communication and regulations and ethics.

On the occasion of the final launch of the EU-Citizen.Science platform, the EU-Citizen.Science project organised an online event to showcase three of the training modules and to offer the chance to participants to meet the trainers Alice Sheppard (UCL) and Pen-Yuan Hsing (University of Bath) to exchange to directly with them in an open and interactive discussion on topics such as volunteer engagement and the relationship between citizen science and open science. Then, Claudia Fabó Cartas (ECSA) and Francisco Sanz (Ibercivis) introduced the final version of the EU-Citizen.Science platform and showed its new features. Finally, the winners of the #MonthOfTheProjects campaign - YouCount, amai! and Objective1000 - introduced their projects to the audience.
