The main goal of the module is to show how and when citizen science-based projects can be useful, especially from a scientific point of view. After a brief introduction on citizen science itself, this module guides the audience through the steps of available benefits, disadvantages, as well as examples of fields of interests and publication potentials that apply the citizen science approach.
