Created Nov. 22, 2021, 5:08 p.m.
Updated Aug. 30, 2023, 8:56 a.m.
This is the first of a four-part course designed for anyone that wants to understand the environment and other global challenges and help create a change. You need no prior knowledge of citizen science to complete this course.
This part is an introduction to citizen science and citizen observatories, and the best-practices in the field. You will learn how your observatory or campaign team can begin to understand an environmental issue you are concerned about using a useful mapping technique, how to choose a question and how to form an active and engaged team with the advice from our observatories.
