Babes-Bolyai University

Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB) Romania, is the oldest and the largest university in Romania and it is also ranked on the first position in country between 2016-2019, in the University Metaranking, initiated by the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research in 2016. Recent (2021), following the international QS STAR audit, UBB was confirmed as the first world-class university in Romania. Since 2020, UBB has been accepted into GUILD, the organization of some of the most prestigious European world-class/research-intensive universities. It has received the European distinction HR Award for Excellence, and since 2021/2022, it is a part of the European university alliance EUTOPIA.
