France Bevk Public Library

The France Bevk Public Library, as the central regional library, plays the role of coordinator and liaison between general libraries in the Goriška region, and guides joint professional work. Library activities are carried out for six municipalities with 9 local libraries and a bibliobus. The central unit of the Goriška Library is located in the centre of Nova Gorica.
The France Bevk Public Library is also a border library. Cooperation between Slovenian libraries in Italy is
in all professional and cultural-educational fields. We build on it with professional meetings,

The library is innovative and daring in her work, known for projects such as the Makerspace, Seed Library, Dobreknjige.si... Through its activities, which are shaped according to local community needs, has a significant impact on the reading and information literacy of the local community, informal educates and draws attention to various issues in society. It offers users on its premises a place to study and work, but also to relax after a busy week or after school.
