Morigenos - the Slovenian Marine Mammal Society

Morigenos, the Slovenian Marine Mammal Society, was founded in 2001 by a group of high school students with the support and aid of adults, who established an internationally renowned research and educational institution, noting that we are a small country with minor access to the sea. Today, Morigenos has several ongoing projects in the fields of scientific research, education, public awareness and marine conservation. Through its work, it contributes significantly to the understanding and protection of dolphins as well as to the conservation of marine ecosystems. Morigenos is a non-profit organisation of people who believe that every individual can contribute to a better world and positive changes.
