Migrants' Citizen Science Association

The Migrant Citizen Science Association (MCSA) aims to promote the active participation of migrants in citizen science activities while emphasizing sustainability and communication. Guided by seven core values such as empowerment, diversity, and inclusivity, the MCSA has ten specific goals including encouraging migrants to participate in scientific research, building a network of citizen scientists and researchers, and increasing public awareness of migrants' contributions to science, society, and policy. The organization aims to contribute to the development of a European-wide citizen science movement and educate policymakers and stakeholders on the importance of citizen science initiatives. Overall, the MCSA prioritizes diversity, inclusivity, and fairness, emphasizing its commitment to creating a more equitable world.
