Biennale of Western Balkans

The Biennale of Western Balkans (BoWB) is a non-profit organisation established in 2018 that operates through a biennial festival and an annual community science programme in the province of northwestern Greece. BoWB is active in promoting intangible cultural heritage and natural heritage in the Balkans, by exploring knowledge identified as local, indigenous, folk or traditional, in open, educative and participatory ways, with the vision to inspire people experiencing tradition anew. It is an initiative of the History of Art Laboratory, School of Fine Arts, University of Ioannina.
