BES Citizen Science is hosting an event on engagement, marketing, motivation and change.
Wednesday 11th November 2020, 13:00-17:30
How do we take our projects to the next level? Join experts in marketing, design, usability, motivation & social sciences to find out...
Citizen Science is a well-established in ecology, but how do we reach more participants, enhance their engagement and experience, motivate them to take part and effect behavioural change? We are often focussed on the "science", but now it is time to engage more with the "citizens". In this afternoon of seminars, we will learn from marketing experts, social scientists, psychologists and designers, picking up new cross-disciplinary insights for enhancing citizen science.
This event is hosted by the British Ecological Society (BES) and supported by JNCC. There is a small charge for attendance (£10 BES student, £15 student or BES member, £20 full rate).
