EU-Citizen.Science is evolving!

We are very excited to announce the release of new features on EU-Citizen.Science.

On Wednesday 20 January, you may have noticed that different elements appeared on our platform.

We produced our first own training modules!
Four brand new training modules are already available, designed by our partners:

-        Introduction to citizen science

-        Leading a ‘Train the Trainer’ workshop

-        Typologies in Citizen Science

-        Learning through participation in citizen science (will be available on Thursday 21 January)

You can access our Moodle integration directly with your EU-Citizen.Science handles.

This is only the beginning… In total, 20 training modules will be published by the end of 2021.

And as for every beginning, we might need your help! Just like the rest of our platform, this functionality has the sole ambition to meet the needs of the citizen science community, which is why your feedback is essential to us.

Please help us improve this new service by reporting any bug or error that you may encounter in this Google form.

EU-Citizen.Science is even more multi-national than before

If your internet browser is not set in English, this might have caught your attention right away: our platform can now be displayed in 12 languages!
Making our website accessible to every citizen science enthusiast all over Europe was really important to us, so each of our partners translated the static parts of the platform into their own language.

More information on the projects

When looking for projects, you might be interested in getting more information than just the description. It is now possible to get statistics from the projects featured in our catalogue.

And please don’t forget: This platform has been created by the community, for the community. Don’t hesitate to share with us your feedback or any suggestions about our website.
